Does anyone else follow the Orangette blog? if so, i apologize for the repetition. anyway, i love it. i love it so much that when we move back to seattle i might be in danger of becoming a molly stalker. and it will be so much easier now that she and her husband are opening up a restaurant in ballard! think me and my three rugrats can stealthily hang about the restuaruant every day, all sydney bristow-like, without anyone noticing? no? must come up with another plan.
at any rate, how cool is that? you all must go when it opens, take pictures, and tell me how it is so that i can live vicariously through you!
oh yeah, i heard about that a while back but forgot to mention it. i just read the post, which seemed odd because i thought everything but the name was common knowledge around these parts. i don’t read her blog so i must of read it on another of the food sites i look at or perhaps on myballard.com. anyway, yes, they have a pizza joint going in right by sara’s house. i know people in the food world are excited about it and i wish them well but there have been like 4 new pizza places started in ballard in the last 6 months so they seem a tad behind in the concept. slanky is probably so pissed about this trend because about 3 years ago he talked nonstop about opening up a pizza place in ballard.
well, a pizza place anywhere probably isn’t going to be a totally unique (not the word i’m looking for, but close enough. so infuriating. it’s right there, but i can’t quite catch it) idea…but seems like they have a better start than most people with being so well known already!
